Yes, and no. Yes, there is one pier with rides in AC, but that is it. Wildwood has multiple piers, multiple waterparks, and probably the most options with the most rides. Ocean City is closer to AC, has two amusement parks, a watermark, multiple mini golf, and a myriad of boardwalk food options. OC is also pretty safe to let your teens run free. AC, is a bit iffy, and the town mostly caters to the gaming crowd. The problem with AC is the relative lack of people, it simply is not as crowded as it use to be. I would be leery of letting 14 year olds run free there.

Just wanting some beach shops, an arcade, ferris wheel, go-karts, etc. Closer and cheaper than Wildwood, not sure if there's a noticeable difference for that brief of a visit by garbageeater
