It will definitely feel a lot smaller than Bangor, but for a town that size it has a decent amount going for it (mostly thanks to Colby money).

Walking/skiing/bike trails on Quarry Rd, movies at the new Schupf Arts Center, shows at the opera house, decent bars/restaurants downtown. A lot of people still kind of have a bad opinion of Waterville but I liked living there more than Augusta.

I'm halfway through that program right now. Most of my classes have been asynchronous. I'm in one right now that's technically synchronous, but attendance isn't part of the grade so I still just watch the lectures after work.

It's a pretty new program so it doesn't seem super well structured/cohesive, but depending on which classes you take, there is some useful material, and a lot of overlap in other departments (spatial informatics, business, computer science).

I will say though, I probably wouldn't keep going if I didn't have my work paying for it. I've taken a couple classes (a couple from the business school come to mind) where I really feel like I learned nothing.
