I used to get that on my shower stall & liners all the time at my old apartment in South Elmwood. Bleach would remove it so I made a weak bleach & liquid soap solution to use as a daily spray.

That's definitely an oil slick. Probably a result of runoff from all the rain washing off the roads.

Considering the phone number is based in Maine, I'm leaning towards scam. I've had enough experience hunting for apartments with contact numbers not in the immediate area (RI, MA, CT) to know better. I've gotten ridiculous text responses to voice mails like "you can't see the apartment because the caretaker doesn't have keys" or "you need to leave a Paypal deposit before viewing".

If it's cheaper and stays cheaper than RI Scamergy, I'm in.

It really is. The first week they put the bus stop risers in, someone drove their car into it and the car didn't fare well. They could use some reflective paint.

There are people who deliberately drive their cars straight down the bikeway on Broad. This is SUPER dangerous not just for bikers, but pedestrians as well since these people don't pay attention to crosswalks or the widely-used RIPTA stops either. I've almost been hit THREE TIMES.

Thundermist is awful. I booked an appointment for emergency dental work, went there and only got a 5-minute exam where they told me the obvious. Then they booked an appointment to do the work I went there to get six months out. They didn't even prescribe antibiotics so I had to get them from my PCP.

Three days before the appointment day I called because I never got a confirmation call, and they claimed the appointment was cancelled the day it was booked. AND THEN I got a text the scheduled day saying I was late for my appointment.

Anything related to state assistance in Rhode Island is an absolute nightmare. My girlfriend moved here from CT just over two years ago, has been waiting ever since for her medical card and for SNAP to be transferred.

It's been a while since I lived in the New Haven area so I'm not familiar with this shop. The one I remember downtown from waaay back is Alternate Universe.

95 North was totally open & smooth as well, from Jefferson to the downtown exits. It's very rare you see that just before rush hour.

From what I've seen RISE is getting lots of business over on Jefferson. It helps that there's an hourly bus route (14) going by there.

To be fair there are plenty of videos of porch pirates out there.
