It makes sense for me. Finger fatigue got me into this rabbit hole a few months ago and my pinkies appreciate lighter linears while I like tactiles on the rest of my alpha keys.
I couldn’t commit to a meeting friendly keyboard (Q5) that’s just silent switches. I only use Boba U4s on my numpad keys that’s directly next to the case and on my first two alpha rows. I use Akko Lavender Purples on the bottom alpha row, and linears for the rest.

Very nice! I so want that colorway in that set. I just received the OEM version but I prefer the Keychron OSA profile.
I got a Q5 a few months ago and it sounded and felt great. I started replacing the switches and trying out various keycaps and profiles.

Agreed! It would be nice to see a TKL with a trackpad area. If it’s wireless then it can be used with the TV.

I do not. I wanted to try it but it only comes unlubed.

Nice! I had my eye on those but I ended up buying a handful of Akkos and a few more tactile switches. I feel like I can appreciate a tester more now that I have typed and tried so many switches.

It might depend on how long someone’s been using mechanical keyboards? I’ve used a mechanical keyboard for years but I’ve been in this rabbit hole the last few months due to all the variety in switches and keycaps. In this rabbit hole phase I’m just slowing down to 2 times a week. My quieter keyboard is a Q5 and my louder keyboard is the K6 Pro.
I mix switches to minimize finger fatigue and I’m liking my current combo, but I have some new 10-pack switches and my first GMK keycap sets coming this week. I’m probably going to try them out on my K6 Pro and see which mix I like, and work on having the nerve to open up my first mechanical keyboard and replace the aluminum plate with FR4.
