There's nothing wrong with his ideals as far as I know, world peace, climate change, abject poverty. It's more his attitude as if he decided this is going to change so it will. But there's something about a really well dressed guy sporting huge rings that makes you wonder about sincerity.

I never really had much of an opinion. Some songs I liked, also the early ones mostly. A lot not. As a non fan I just assumed they sold our to commercialism and I stop listening to bands like that. However, Bono's lectures on whatever he decides is important are a problem.

U2 is not bad. They're ok. It's strictly Bono.

The thing is guys like Axl Rose are douchebags because they're crazy and you can kind of appreciate that about musicians. Bono Is a douchebag because he'd obnoxious and opinionated and thinks he's some kind of demi God. It's almost impossible to like someone like that.

This is why I liked her so much. All that pain, angst, etc. You literally could feel it in her music.

Yeah she never really liked performing on stage she was uncomfortable with it for sure. And while you mentioned her great voice, there's something you didn't mention that's the reason why she was so special. When she sang, all the angst, pain, trauma, whatever she went through, all of those things were in her music and voice. It was incredible what she did.
