Oh and the majority of Mexicans in New Haven are from a little state called Tlaxcala, culturally very similar to Puebla.

Fair Haven has a more concentrated Latino population (primarily Mexican and Ecuadorian) but many neighborhoods in New Haven are highly diverse with some Mexican population. My Mexican friends and their families have lived in Fair Haven, Wooster Square, Westville, The Hill, City Point, and Beaver Hills.

Reply to How bad is Mandy Management really? by Mission_Fox6790
Mandy Management's maintenance team caused a fire in the unit above my apartment. Fire department had to put it out with water, not chemical extinguishers, due to the wood floor burning. All that water poured into my apartment. The whole experience was a nightmare. They have so many unsafe conditions in their buildings. My apartment being flooded and their terrible repairs was just the icing on a shit cake. Never ever ever rent from Mandy.

Chris who runs Fromage in Old Saybrook is fantastically knowledgeable. She doesn't just help you pick out the exact right cheese, she can tell you the story behind that cheese. She carries a lot of lesser known or small batch cheeses from all over the world.

Yeah there was a crazy convection fog. Very cool to see it roll in and roll back out a while later.

These are Monk Parakeet nests. I think they are abandoned, haven't seen the little green parrots that used to swarm the area in a few years.
