I'd probably been going to the Porter Exchange in Cambridge, MA for over a year before someone told me it was a Lesley University food court. This concept isn't unique or even particularly rare.

Lukewarm take: The steak-to-cheese ratio at Dalessandro's makes for a near-inedible brick with provolone, but is excellent if you get American cheese and some toppings.

My guess would be that it's C.A.T., rather than cat. If you're going to put up directional signs, it's more efficient to print a bunch of ones like this rather than assume you need x number of <--- signs and y number of ---> signs.

If this is Rozzie I think there's a safety issue where the duct tape holding the entire Orange Line together can't take the shearing forces if they slow down or speed up too fast.

As far as I know a gas-powered forced hot water baseboard system is at least as efficient as a comparable furnace system. The most annoying thing about them is that the location along the bottom of the wall of every room is exactly where you want to shove your furniture. Avoid electric baseboard head like the plague.
When it comes to checking for efficiency, it's pretty simple: you want the covers and fins to be in good shape. Other than that, I think the biggest things would be the same as any other system-- how efficient is the thing heating that water up?

I'm not sure you can be in the wrong if you're on the sidewalk and a cyclist hits you. But that means when you see one riding on the sidewalk, assume they're incompetent. Sorry you got hit hard. Hope you're ok.

Honestly, until people have nervous breakdowns trying to keep up with the checkout bagging, you can call it whatever you want, but it's not a real Aldi or Lidl.

To piggy back on this, I think it's worth noting that a lot of places that used to have "two drink minimums" (like comedy clubs) have moved to "two item minimums". The markup on food may be steep, but it's not as absurd as the markup on nonalcoholic beverages, and it removes the "you should be drinking" signal that can be uncomfortable for some people.
Comedy shows are still filled with drunk idiots who don't know how to act in public, but it's definitely more friendly to people who don't drink than it used to be.

Reply to comment by WeeSmallHours in Anyone know where to buy Lebkuchen in the city? by justneedausernamepls
This is the thing-- like a lot of German food, the terms are not universal and there is overlap, so you can find different things under the same name and the same thing under different names.
Lebkuchen, Honigkuchen, and Pfefferkuchen can all be the same thing
smug_masshole t1_izxgp4y wrote
If it helps, these are also sometimes called Honigkuchen, although I think there's also a slightly different thing called that as well, and there's probably a bunch of people who will tell you they're nothing alike because no one outside their home city/village/region know how to make it properly.

It's a table from an industry publication. They don't give a shit what you think, they want to know where people spend money in the categories literal decades of research tell them are important to their business.

It probably did. You're comparing the revenues for 303 stores to revenues for 67 stores and they're a rounding error apart.
