You'll be about an hour from Manhattan, 1/2 hour from Morristown. Morristown has a vibrant bar and restaurant scene. Somerville is pretty nice in that regard as well. Neither would be mistaken for a large urban scene, though.

5 hours seems like a lot, I generally do 3. I tend to arrive early as a stress relief thing. It's easy to kill time in an airport, and if I wasn't there I'd be sitting at home fretting over whether I should have left already.

Thanks for elaborating. I've not seen that much from most DJ's I've encountered at weddings. Glad to hear there are better ones.

I already don't lie, or come up with a story. I just politely decline to engage, and wish them a nice day. Takes maybe 30 seconds of my time, once every couple of years.

Great live music in Morristown at The Laundromat and Homestead. There are others, too, but that's where I frequent.
