Reply to Children Activities by Leeasaurus-Rex
Like others said, the SEE Science Center is a great spot.
The Fisher Cats baseball team starts their season soon.
There's an awesome trampoline park in Goffstown.
Tons of trails and parks all over. The Uncanoonucs and Lake Massabesic have a lot.
Bear Brook and Pawtuckaway State Parks are close by too, but tons of camping, swimming, and hiking.
Joppa Educational Farm in Bedford is free and has lots of animals kids can pet.
The Currier Art Museum has kids stuff sometimes.
I plan to go watch planes at the airport soon. They have the NH Aviation Museum too.
I've the Nest Cafe in Londonderry is awesome if you want to relax with a coffee while your kids play.
It's a little further out, but we also loved the NH Children's Museum in Dover was awesome. I've also heard good things about the Christa McAuliffe Science Center in Concord.
Welcome to the area!

Yeah, what was the main issue people had with it? I heard Eversourcd originally had a dumb plan, but then they redid the proposal to bury the lines going around the Whites. Given that fix, I don't know what the problem was.

Reply to Buying a home! by lynsss
Ah, you're one of our competitors! We live in Manchester and have been trying to buy for a year. The market is really tough.
The city does have a drug and homeless problem, but so does everywhere. Total crime is very reasonable for a city this size, and I'd feel safe walking anywhere 24/7.
Some neighborhoods like Piscatacuog and Kalivas Union are kind of run down, but the North End is very nice. So are Straw/Smyth, the east side, and the southeast corner.
Good luck hunting. Hopefully you don't want the same house as us!
