No infections. It stayed wrapped in an ace bandage.

Since there were a few that asked. This is somewhat of a progression of pictures. Apparently my wife and i deleted quite a few so this is what is left.

I was recovering at home. It was essentially just wrapped in an ace bandage for the duration of this being open.

If was pretty wild. The doctor had me do all kind of cool stuff with my fingers so I could see how the muscles and tendons move.

About 7 months. I have a plate on each bone. After the first four months, the bone wouldn’t heal. They had to do a bone graft from my hip. About two weeks of laying in a chair and only moving for the bathroom.

Both bones snapped by a very heavy object. This was in 2018. Was cleaning out my photos and forgot about this pic.
