I just know a few years ago they were asking for volunteers out of the Sons group. Maybe they’ve run out of volunteers.

They’re almost certainly volunteers from the Sons of Confederate veterans. I don’t think Rent-a-Cops are usually armed.

It’s not nearly that hard to pick up after your pet. I definitely think the area could increase trash pickup frequency and green space. But it’s not an excuse for poor dog ownership. I see a lot of poop behind Symbol where there is a dog bag bin and several trash cans.

One time I decided to step out of my normal NC BBQ sandwich from Wood + Iron and get the Baja fish tacos. I still get queasy thinking about it. I’ve had some bangin’ food there but when they miss… boy howdy do they miss.
