Switch is great when little kids step on it and break the screen, lose the controllers, and cough and sneeze fluids all over the screen when using it. /s

The Switch is NOT for kids that age unless it's put up away from them and they are using a couple of pro controllers. And since that's the way that would be safest for them and the console, you may as well spend less money and get a used PS4 and an extra controller and really guage their interest

There are some really dumb things about how MS handles account stuff. Some for Sony too, but in my time with PS (since release day of PS1) I have never had an issue. 99% of people don't ever have an issue. But when they do, they come straight here to tell everyone about it. Just like you're doing.

I just bought a super cheap (about $250) 42" 4k 60Hz LG for my grandson's PS5. It's certainly not greatest TV, but it looks miles better than the old 1080p TV he had. But to answer your question, yes, HDMI 2.1 doesn't really matter if you're just working with 60Hz TV's.

Reply to HELP!!????? by [deleted]

As the owner of an Epson printer and a goldfish made of play-doh I'd say to go buy a pound of Swedish meatballs and put them in a big brown bowl and just rest your face in them.

This is how I'm answering every single one of these dumbass "Help, what should I do?" posts from now on. I urge everyone to do the same until we successfully raise the bar of intelligent posts in this as of now fucking brain dead sub.

In my opinion you want at least 1Gbps minimum service with a good router and unlimited data. And if you're gonna go the wired route, a 10-port gigabit switch and an ethernet cable of the right length for each console. I have 3 PS5's, 2 PS4 Pro's, 2 OG PS4'S, and one Xbox One S all on wifi with Xfinity 1.2Gbps service with unlimited data. Only once have I had everything going at once. But no one experienced lag. People like to bag on Xfinity. But I've never had any problems with speed or customer service.
