Closing the window is like asking the program to close. Alt+F4 is demanding the program to close.
Sometimes neither are good enough and using task manager forces it to close.
There is a program called super F4 or something that will basically force anything to close with Ctrl alt f4 similar to task manager.
So you have "please close now" vs "close right now" vs shooting the program
Forcing a program to close can cause issues if the program does not have time to save, or close naturally, (think a game not saving progress before closing, it a text editor not saving the text)
