when they built the new building on Broad and Washington, people were complaining that the old small town charm of south philly was disappearing. I'm like really? You live in the second largest city on the east coast. If you dont like urbanization then move to the burbs. Broad and Washington is practically center city.

People from upper roxborough who drive everywhere are upset the new apartments in manayunk will block the view of the bridge from main street. As if their view was more important than housing demand

there are so many boomers who moved to Florida but still stalk the RNR page, literally saying Roxborough is the new Kensington, how its not like the 70s anymore and its all Kranser's fault. They are screaming for Rox high to be shut down as if those high schoolers from Germantown are of less value than kids from Rox or Manayunk.

I called 911 in manayunk when i saw one college student beating the shit out of another. The dispatcher just asked if any weapons were used and said an officer was on the way. I stuck around for a good 15 minutes, which was long enough for the fight to be broken up and no officer ever showed up.

It only becomes a philly school when they reach the sweet sixteen or higher
