I had this issue after upgrading to the 14 pro. Didn’t happen on my xs max.

The feature your talking about and looking for is called Instant Hotspot.

I had to reformat my MacBook to fix this and I also reformatted my phone just to make sure it would fix the issue.

Instant Hotspot is now working properly for me. Pain in the ass though.

Last three devices I’ve had this happen to them like clockwork by a year after new it ends up being so bad it’s hardly audible and it slowly starts to go out so it’s hard to notice it and I’ll constantly be thinking it’s not loud but not know if I’m just being silly till it’s completely messed up.

Unfortunately that’s just what happens after a while of owning the same device. We got spoiled when smart phones first came out with the new major upgrades every year or every other year and it made sense to upgrade that often.

I held on my to my xs max for 4 years and that was the longest I’ve had a phone for without upgrading. It definitely got boring but still worked till the speakers gave out.
