Sure, the OP's race has very little to do with my comment. I didn't assume the OP's race at all. I might adjust my comment if OP were also Japanese, but I don't see how my comment was otherwise unable to be applied to all races.

It's OK to ask someone if it's all right to hug them. It's also important to observe if their consent is enthusiastic or not, particularly if you're a feely person who might not read cues so well or might usually skip over this part. If you want to be closer to Emma you need to start by identifying and respecting her boundaries.

Sounds Australian. Not that many pizza places do more than pizza but plenty of places that sell primarily kebabs do pizza. Sounds like OP mistook the former for the latter.
