Yeah, I realize there are a handful of homeless people that make use of the bridge to set up tents under. They've never really bothered me when we occasionally walk or stroll the baby, outside of some eye contact or talking to themselves. Buy I get it, being around people with mental health issues going untreated can be a heavy ask.

God I hope that's not the case, that it's not pressure from police "unions." How much ongoing regression can this country lay at the feet of the police? If it's the case of waiting for a federal reclassification, then that's at least understandable on some level.

We call the cops at work to issue trespass orders, and once for a drunken fight where it seemed a woman had gotten knocked out. They almost always show up after the fact, and just do paperwork and leave, which is good. I can't imagine calling them for deescalation, especially in place where there aren't a lot of eyes to witness what happens.

Right on. This is actually an issue I've changed my mind about as a progressive. I could get behind a ban on assault style weapons I suppose, or getting rid of stand your ground and other laws that make it too easy to get away with murder, but other than that I think gun ownership is a non-issue. Most gun violence is due to inequality in general, I've learned.

Dude, I came here to make this suggestion. Don't let the exterior fool you, we went there for a nicish dinner (not expecting much) and ordered too much food and it was delicious! (The weird Nepalese music videos playing on the TVs that all take place in beautiful fields was a little distracting at first).

Was taking a shower one day and got totally lost in repetitions of trying to duplicate how he says EARNED!

"Ewwhunned"

"Uhhwurrrnd"

"Ooohuoind"

Had to stop and laugh at myself imagining someone could hear me, lol.

Edit: not trying to belittle the man, I just find his accent fascinating
