"Retcon is a shortened form of retroactive continuity, and refers to a literary device in which the form or content of a previously established narrative is changed."

That is the literary device they used. But they still changed a previously establish narrative, it is a retcon.

Not to mention that One New Day retconned Brand New Day on how it all worked because they bungled it up the first time. The writers wanted more freedom away from him being married plain and simple and they shoehorned that load we got to get there.

Jax, FL has cashew chicken on the menu at some chinese places but it isn't Springfield style, I haven't tried to get it in other places so I don't know beyond that but there are different types out there. I didn't even know it was a regional thing until this poor excuse of a dish showed up that was just chicken with some cashews scatter around and no sauce, that was when I learned the difference

I was at a comedy thing near the front enjoying myself and the comedian on stage pointed me out as a person who must have been dragged there and not enjoying his act.

They weren't, it was an overaction to the supposed gimmick of the toy that could learn to talk by interacting with the user, but it was all preprogramed and not actually listening in any way.

It was rescinded because they did not pose a security risk. It was a gimmick that it could "listen and learn from you" but it was only preprogrammed to go from non-sensical to talking no matter what was said to it. It didn't listen at all.

I was lucky if I caught the last 15 mins of a show before golf came on, luckily most the good stuff was on syndication after school anyway but I never caught new episodes unless I pulled an all nighter to watch the premier of Power Rangers or whatever.

Shoot, my memory was off

I don't think there should be a stigma for adults living with their parents, but how does a 26 year old living with his mom while volunteering as a youth basketball coach have anything to do with that sweet "American dream"?
