Yeah sorry. I have family who live/lived there and they either want to move back to the northeast or already have. Affordable living and less taxes come with some consequences I don't believe in.

I'd rather be able to drive to see the ocean and have rights. Anything outside of that in my eyes in a shittier state.

I was at Ft. Wetherill years ago when a guy jumped and the waves took him away when he tried to climb up. I know the guy who found his body and pulled him out. I know it's one of the most popular spots in RI to cliff jump, but find a better spot. Or just don't.

At URI I was there mid snow storm because my professor was one who didn't cancel, and a project was due so I had to come in.

Shuttle bus was stopped at the bio building bus stop, and couldn't start back up. I was at the back of the bus jaw dropped as I watched the driver literally used parked cars as bumper cars to leverage back to the road and drive up. Never stopped again or made a call about the accident.

I saw the video and had no idea the woman was from RI. The entire thing is completely disgusting and shows how the cops and the hospital lack empathy and just regular human decency. 2 issues America has wrapped into one, and things need to change.

I would say yes. The more west/north west you get in the state the more conservative it gets. But RI as a whole is LGBTQ friendly.

I lived in NK and the only concern I had with the rotary was the potential lack of space and drivers not noticing people crossing the street. I feel like that intersection is doomed.

I wasn't born here but I've been here a good amount of time. Everything you mentioned is why I love RI. But....all this can't be only what RI is known for. I wish we had better job industries like Massachusetts for example. Someone who isn't a native Rhode Islander could totally be a good governor, but Kalus is a snake and not the right person for the job.
