Not a doctor or a therapist, but my psychiatrist and therapist recommended I do some cold exposure to help with anxiety and panic attacks and it does help. I usually try to just step outside or do an ice bath. It apparently slows your heart rate and breathing and calms the system that causes your body to go into fight or flight during panic attacks.

Snow tires will be a huge difference. If the conditions are poor and roads slippery, Drive and take turns like you have a bowl of soup you’re trying not to spill on your passengers lap. (Weird analogy but I heard it years ago and it stuck)

Best of luck, go slow, and if you feel overwhelmed, pull over.
