I mean, fuck the people who demanded those job positions stay in place

I know it seems like a small barrier to automation but there's still the labor issue. I'm very pro-union but I draw the line at people working jobs that don't need to exist. NYC's L train is basically completely automated but they still have to have an operator and conductor because of the labor agreements. SEPTA can't even get rid of the token booth position, good luck ever getting rid of the operator position. And I'm slightly furious that I have to cross Spring Garden to enter to BSL because of a stupid labor contract (they can't open the turnstiles unless there's a token booth employee present).

All fountains have plumbing issues. The real reason is that they're owned and maintained by the city and the city doesn't care to pay for them.

Oh I know. I just step on this soapbox and go into a hypnosis. It's bad. I should do some more candidate research though. Living here two years has been long enough to be ignorant (blissful) of local politics.

Being anti-car is not single issue, it's supports walking, cycling, and transit. It helps those who are unable to drive or cannot afford a car. It leads to a healthier city, a quieter city, and a more attractive city.

Chances you'll actually sit for a trial are pretty low. I got placed on a jury in December but it fell through later that day. Same thing happened to a friend that same week. I was very relieved. I didn't want the responsibility. Also the dramatics of lawyer speak is also just very off-putting for me.

So i just bought a pair of these after a "what's your daily IEM" post on here. I thought IEMs weren't for me after getting the KZ ZS10 and hating them. These are a lot better but I find them to be top heavy. I'll keep playing with the tips to try and get some more bass.

I'll believe it when I see the train. I don't trust those things anywhere.

The city of Philadelphia is in the wrong for giving too much space for cars and not enough for other transportation modes.

I'm currently visiting Denver and I've seen at least 4 Phillies hats per day. Not sure I've seen any Astros gear.
