If you have video of a husband and wife entering a building, the husband's fingerprints on the knife found in the wife's chest, and video of the husband leaving the building alone, all you have is circumstantial evidence.

It's got to be a mixture of fear, hope, and courage for these people to leave their homes and try to start a new life in a foreign land. Haiti isn't a great place to live at the best of times and right now the country is in absolute shambles - they don't even have a head of state right now things are so bad. There isn't enough political will to accept Haitian migrants fleeing this disaster and there's no way the American people would accept a military occupation. I'm afraid Haiti is going to be a Somalia of the Caribbean for some time.
