Fleetwood Mac while Lindsey was still in the band

Michael Jackson

Madonna (in her 80s heyday)

I am seeing Billy Joel in October. He's been on my bucket list. He's touring with Stevie Nicks, who I saw live back in the 90s.

Nightwish (they were in NY last May but I didn't have the money to travel). They're making a new album so I hope to catch that tour when and if they do it.

Almost saw Elton John, but my mom (who was going to spring for tickets) would only pay for lawn seats, and those were over $70 a ticket so I said no. I told her I'd rather pay more and be able to sit in an actual seat.

Phil Collins

You'd probably enjoy Beast in Black (old school metal combined with synthwave/outrun elements), Sabaton (power metal whose songs are about certain moments in history), and Blind Guardian (fantasy/medieval power metal).

Stevie Nicks singing backup on John Stewart's Gold and Midnight Wind, and Miley Cyrus' Midnight Sky

Phil Collins playing drums and singing backup on Frieda's I Know Something's Going On

James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt singing backup at the end of Neil Young's Heart of Gold

Michael Jackson's chorus on Somebody's Watching Me

Michael McDonald in anything. Such a distinctive voice.

Many of us who support abortion rights said this scenario would happen. Pro-birthers want all these babies born, yet rant about them when they and the parents end up on welfare or using other social programs seen as "entitlement." While completely ignoring the broken foster care system and the babies, children, and teens part of it. Now more babies will end up in foster care or run the risk of being abandoned because of Republicans and their need to control and oppress women through their warped religious beliefs.

I knew of Nightwish back in the early 2000s when they had their original lead singer but really didn't listen to them. I rediscovered them during Covid with their third singer Floor and heard the supposed stories of why the band fired the first singer, Tarja, due to conflicts with her husband/manager who allegedly tried to get her to leave to be a solo act. The second singer Anette was radically different and while they had the most success with her (Imaginareum is my favorite album from them), she was also fired for what exactly I don't know why, but I do know she wasn't the best live singer. (She still sounds miles better than me on a good day). They hit gold with Floor though. If she ever left the band would probably be done.

I'm in Maryland, and Democrat Wes Moore overwhelmingly beat his challenger Dan Cox for governor. Cox is a Trump supporter endorsed by Agent Orange. Even though we are considered a blue state, there's pockets of conservatives, and the county I live in is one of those pockets. Also, the outgoing Republican governor, Larry Hogan, was a moderate who couldn't stand Trump.
