I know a lot of pop musicians don’t read music but it really helps your musicianship to learn. Singers are no exception. I learned to sight sing in college and it gives me a huge advantage over people without reading skills.

Former music student here. Totally agree. The layout of the keyboard is a really good graphical representation of how scales work. I can’t imagine trying to learn theory without having some keyboard experience.

Same in California. Gift cards can’t expire here. Varies by state in the US.

Reply to LPT: Don't get in ANY car that randomly offers you a ride by Mindraker
This is a bit paranoid. I give people rides. I’ve also hitch hiked. The worst thing that ever happened was when I gave a (homeless) woman a ride. The next day she had wrote a note in lipstick on my truck window.
Also, I gave a ride to a woman who was experiencing a mental health crisis/intoxication. I drove her a couple blocks to the ER. She got mad at me and called me a bunch of nasty names but she did go into the ER so I think it worked out okay.
