Not too many mentions of Pittsburg here, which seems to be universally considered a great place to live. It's a major tech center with top notch universities. It would be worth considering.

Reply to Pennsylvania was heavily deforested in the 1800s; mostly due to unchecked logging companies. by Libsoccer20
Same thing happened in the 1700's when enormous trees, up to 200 feet tall, were cut down for masts for ships. The branches were left behind in huge piles which caused massive wild fires leaving the forests a wasteland.

Reply to comment by HermitAndHound in Can an x-ray of an adult show chronic malnourishment in childhood? by Foxs-In-A-Trenchcoat
I was told by a dentist that there was evidence in my teeth I had been malnourished as a child, but he didn't elaborate. Some years later my mother told me I had been malnourished as a child and for a time a public health nurse dropped in to check on me. I actually have one memory of the nurse being in the kitchen while I played on the floor.
I asked my current dentist about this but he didn't seem to be aware of teeth showing evidence of malnutrition. I expect this isn't covered in dental school these days in the US.

I had to go to the airport yesterday morning around 8:30 via Route 206 in Morris/Somerset county. We'd never seen such heavy traffic. Fog and rain didn't help.

I live nearby and have never heard of Ravine Lake. Is it on private land?
Edit: it is a man made lake and is in Bernardsville not Far Hills.

Reply to What to do in Poconos for a 2night weekend getaway with a group of friends in March? by Entire-Conclusion305
Pennsylvania weather in March can range from warmish (45-55) to stormy with rain or feet of snow. It is a transitional month and unpredictable. It's also the mud season, so if you plan outdoor activities have some indoor things planned as a backup.
