I’m sorry she has to deal with this but it’s reality as you’ve noted and there’s some great suggestions here. I just want to say for the majority of us men who aren’t creeps, if you see a young woman being harassed step up and help. Even if you’re not a big, imposing guy, confrontational, know BJJ, etc., you can run interference with the aggressor.

“Hey, man, you look familiar. Don’t I know you from…”

“My man you dropped something back there”.

“Hey I’m not from here can you tell me how to get to xyz?

It may give her an opening to bounce and signal you know what’s up and are trying to help out.

I’m not bringing vitriol. I’m also aware there’s conflicting data in regards to sentencing. There isn’t though, to my knowledge, conflicting information regarding gun violence offenses. Aren’t you at least open to other data which doesn’t jive with your own instincts?

The “Get a lawyer” crowd presumably realizes the cost involved with doing so could be high if it turns into a prolonged battle. Maybe they’re rich?

Anyway, did they approach you and give you a heads up Re: these renos? Is removal of the fence absolutely necessary or just more convenient? What do you mean when you say that your neighbor “hasn’t acknowledged” the surveys findings? They just went LOL don’t care?
