Pollution doesn't only happen at the tail pipe. Parts of the USA use coal for the electric grid.

You can't just buy an electric car, pat yourself on the back, and be done with this. The grid isn't green. We need more nuclear and clean energy.

Ain't nothing black and white and be wary of anyone telling you the world is black and white.

Well that's not true at all. Groceries and heating costs more here since Maine likes heating oil and pop density is low here.

What is more expensive in Colorado? Groceries? No way. So what are you talking about? Restaurants here cost more than restaurants in Denver. 100% due to y'alls lack of workers and restaurant competition being low in Maine.

Homes are cheaper in Maine than in Colorado I'll give you that. I've lived in Denver for 15 years now and before that I lived in harpswell.

Literally according to this the only thing more expensive is homes. Food and utilities etc all cost more in Maine.

Admirable my man. I can't wait to hear what you've made for yourself in a few years or a decade from now.

I own a home in Denver Colorado and have been working remotely from my folks place in harpswell. My folks are well off and have a home generator. They don't even stop using the dryer or hot tub. It's ludicrous but it's a real reminder how different it is here to Colorado.

Harpswell didn't have power for days. The comfort of the grid always supplying life is different in these winters.

My family is on day 19. Got a five year old on the mend, a sick 10 month old and a still sick wife. I like my son am on the mend but this has all been pretty miserable.

Started with a scratchy throat and swollen lymph nodes
