Will do. Thank you. Hopefully they’ll just give me a good rate to begin with so I won’t have to go through all that…

Indeed, I will definitely give the dealer to match a credit union rate first… I’ll likely just buy the car first and refinance it later… just seems Easter and faster this way as I want to get the car soon…

Thank you. Yes, I do believe that’s what I’m planning to do is refinance once I have the car. Unless somehow the dealer can give me a really competitive rate…

That’s assuming the dealer actually accepts outside loans? Would it be feasible to just refinance it a few months after purchase?

I see. I’m so I’m basically buying the car with “cash” at the dealership, right? I contacted the dealer and they said their lowest rate now is 6.99%. But at the credit union, I can likely get ~3% (less than $20k loan for 36 months). I doubt the dealer can beat this.
But they’re a smaller bank with no brick and mortar locations. Not sure how fast they can get a check out to me…

Reply to $20k in 0% APR CC debt, Need to open new card(s) to pay this down. Any better options? High-ish income, good credit. by Finally_
To say you are bad with money while making >$100k and still have debt (besides a mortgage) is an underestimate.
Do yourself a reality check and you’ll see much of your spending aren’t really necessities. The only thing I can see that makes sense is if you have to pay child support and alimony.
My advice is do one more roll to another card and just shift all your income that you can to pay this off.

If it’s like a decade old, possible it’s just a simple capacitor. They tend to bulge and/or leak when they go bad so easy to spot. They are cheap and pretty simple to replace with a cheap $10 soldering iron.
A lot of TVs have this problem as well. Pretty much the whole TV is still good. Just a $1 capacitor on the power supply board blew.

As far as we know, this is not possibly. This is some day zero hack if it were true. Meaning they’ve found a flaw in iOS security. This would be so huge that Apple will likely pay a good bounty for it.
Now with that said, are you a millionaire? How much can they get from you if they drained all of your accounts and max your credit? If the answer is less than $100k, then it likely isn’t what you think it is.
No hacker would spend the amount of resources to break iOS security and then hack a nobody with so less money. As soon as he uses that hack, it’s out there for Apple to patch. It won’t be worth it to use such a valuable hack on a few hundred dollars, or even a few thousand dollars. A hack like what you described would make news within hours.
Jailbreakers spend months to years to develop a single hack for iOS. Are you “big” enough for them to waste a hack on you? Likely not.
You were likely compromised somewhere else. Probably your computer or through a data leak with your email and password.
