Reply to Piercings in New Haven by choanoflagellata
Keys on Kites uses needles to pierce which is supposed to be a lot better than using a piercing gun. Its a tattoo and piercing place. The person there is pretty experienced and thorough with aftercare instructions
I don’t remember how much it cost but it wasn’t expensive and I think they’re cash only

It’s a bit out of New Haven but since you said day trips I’d recommend going to Mt Southington or Ski Sundown for some skiing or snowboarding! I think theyre less than an hour out of the area.

Sup New Haven’s website has a great directory of restaurants categorized by breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
For breakfast, I’ve enjoyed Olmo Bagelry, Clare’s Corner-copia, Fussy Coffee, and Maison Mathis. Really good coffee stores in the area too, like Pistachio Cafe, Koffee, East Rock Coffee, G cafe.
Lunch/dinner: PIZZA 🍕like Frank Pepes, Bar, Atticus Market in East Rock, etc. lots of good picks and international options around Crown and Chapel Streets

Art + community spaces
- Yale British Art Gallery and Yale University Art Gallery (both are across the street from each other
- Creative Arts Workshop: a ton of pottery, painting, photography, etc classes there for a very reasonable price and even financial aid or payment plans available
- MakeHaven: I havent been but know it is a makerspace

Reply to How to travel to Bradley by Proof_Buy7675
Its about 50 minute drive between new haven and bradley so yeah lyft is expensive.
Car parking is very convenient with lots of nearby third-party lots. Ive personally used the Parking Spot many times and its very accessible with a valet or self-park options. It is about a 5 min or so drive away from the airport
I would also look into New Haven’s Tweed airport. Avelo airlines is continually adding in new cities so be sure to stay updated with that!
