I haven't seen any of the movies you listed so I have no idea what brand of coolness you're after, but John Wick, Tombstone, Mad Max: Fury Road, Dollars Trilogy, First Blood and Unforgiven come to mind when thinking of badass movies

On my first watch I found Gattaca to be quite boring. Had to rewatch it a 2nd time to really appreciate it
