The reason this dollar bill seems so crispy is because it was fresh from the US mint and has never been circulated. This may be a new experience for many people who are accustomed to dollar bills that have been tucked in stripper g-strings or have been kept in my sweaty socks while I jog.

Not recognizing that mummies were once real live people (an issue mentioned in article) is ABSOLUTELY NOT a problem with the use of the word "mummy." It is a problem stemming from an incredibly ignorant, un-educated population of morons who probably barely comprehend complete sentences.
