I missed the bottom row of buttons back when I switched a few years ago. The left side swipe is nice and all but it doesn't replace the dedicated gesture.
That said I find gestures smoother on iPhone overall. Fwiw I use a Pixel 3a as my Android device and while it runs just fine even now the gestures feel like they require more drastic actions.

Yeah the HaloLock has a plug on the side of it so it can be a kickstand and charger while being charged. That’s why I went for it and no regrets.
