Reply to weather in NJ by xrt679

I hate it. Grew up playing hockey and going to Vermont to snowboard so I loved the cold. My kids love the snow and the lack of snow this year is upsetting. Someone here on Reddit said nj has 4 seasons 6 times a year.

Craigslist, or even call local photographers and ask once they say they canā€™t do it for that price if they know anyone. Sometimes they have assistants trying get into it and are willing to do it cheap. Not sure where your located but also go to your local photography store if there is a local one and ask around or check their push pin boards. Go on the Nextdoor app, check Groupon (the wedding photographer I worked for did this when she started and now does 50+ weddings a year at like 10k a wedding).

As a photographer thatā€™s a terrible low budget. Post on Craigslist and ask to see their work if you get any hits. For $200 you might get 5 images and 30 mins of work. Itā€™s really low for 90% of photographers but you might get lucky with an person starting out. If not get a good video light, a couple friends and shoot it on their phones. You could prob do better than most photographers with these newer phones. The biggest work is the editing and no photographer is going to put in time for $200 to edit them well.

Well basically itā€™s first pay off all debt. To buy a house he wants you to do it on a 15 year fixed and the monthly should be less than I think it was 25% of your take home pay. Thereā€™s a lot more in between what Iā€™m saying so go check him out. You donā€™t need to pay for his programs or books. Just watch or listen to his YouTube and podcasts

If you filter your search to low scores on schools I would assume most ā€œbadā€ towns will be the lowest scored bc when looking for the ā€œbestā€ towns they usually have the best schools

I donā€™t know much about MBAs but I will tell you one thing, neither my wife or I have been asked what school we got our degrees in. I have a bachelors and she has a masters and itā€™s never mattered once. Only thing they care about is if you have a degree. Choose the cheapest and fastest route to get it if you really want/need a MBA.

Mine was doing really same thing. Replaced the flapper twice and it ended up being the full valve. Super easy repair and inexpensive. Havenā€™t had the issue sinceā€¦ has been about 3 months now.

Non of those places are quiet low key places at allā€¦ their more the opposite.

I would suggest looking at the transit maps and finding towns that are on the lines. If your looking for quiet and low key youā€™ll have to go further away from NY to find that. Not much but say 15-30 mins out should do fine. Just keep in mind the further away from the city, the less diverse and the more racist but also more quiet and open. Bergen county is pretty diverse but some areas can be really expensive but the further out from the city typically the cheaper the apartments will be. You could even get a house for the price of an apartment in Hoboken. Not sure what your able to afford but if you want diverse and quiet ridgewood is beautiful and has a train station in town. Only reason Iā€™m saying ridgewood is bc you mentioned hoboken and if you can afford hoboken Iā€™m pretty sure you could afford ridgewood
