>“The water quality is being tested regularly by the supplier,” said Ashley Flower, a spokesperson for Carlisle-based Giant
Translation: the company whose viability depends on not finding contamination, found no contamination.

I get tired of seeing buggies in front of me on winding back roads when I'm trying to get somewhere.

It's a huge indoor facility. No entrance fees. It is worth checking out at least once to know that world exists here in PA. Always early to mid-January. Don't wear dress shoes. :-)

We park at one of the businesses on the south side of Maclay St., and use the Maclay Lobby entrance. $20 cash. (We're always aiming for that entrance anyway.)

I'll bet you $1000 I can beat you at pickleball if you use "absolutely zero physical exertion". I'll bring you a heart rate monitor if you don't have one.

Agreed, I was going to mention the Keswick. Consistently good sound, never too loud and no bad seat locations (the actual seats could be better though).

The last two concerts we saw there were so loud and unintelligible we stopped going. OTOH, Stevie Wonder several years ago was presented at a reasonable loudness level and was pleasurable...but most tours insist on blowing the roof off. We'll see smaller acts in smaller venues from now on.

Thanks for posting this. I clicked around to sample some Q&As, and am reassured. As an R voter for 40 years until you-know-who was nominated, it's still hard for me to check a D box...but I'm starting to get used to it.

Reply to Filing my part-year resident taxes, and realized that Pennsylvania is truly hell on earth by [deleted]
You just have to stick around a while to retire here. :-)
No taxes on 401k or IRA withdrawals, or pensions or Social Security. Our federal income was 6 figures last year, but for PA our income was so low we qualified for tax forgiveness to pay $0 in PA income taxes.
