Forgot I was on the books subreddit and thought this was about any media. I haven't tried a lot of gay books yet, I was mainly talking about anime and manga. I've especially watched a lot of gay anime, but unless they have no sex they all had dubcon.

I don't have an inner voice, I only recently learned that a lot of people do have that. I can read pretty fast, but it's very easy for me to get distracted if I'm not 100% invested in the story. I have autism.

I've noticed that especially in gay stuff there's a lot of dubcon and stuff, it seems to be rare to find men who willingly bottom.

I don't listen to audio books, but it's surprising how much a lot of practice can help with things. I used to have trouble reading subtitles, now I can watch stuff at 8x speed and still read all the subtitles (only did this for shows that I watched a while ago that are now getting a new season or something, and I wanted to refresh my midn about it).

There aren't many bookstores in my area, the library got turned into an elderly home a while ago and I don't really like reading in my native language, if ebooks didn't exist I would not be in this subreddit right now because I wouldn't be able to enjoy reading.
