My toddler decided he was ready to play at 4:45. I had a burst of energy, like being up in the middle of the night at work.

Now that I’ve relaxed, I’m ded

I know this isn’t cost effective, but pedestrians should never have to cross more than 2 lanes. At that point, there should be infrastructure in place for crossing 3 or more moving lanes of traffic.

That leaves neighborhoods intact as is, but allows for traffic and people to avoid each other on busier roads. I’ve worked so many auto vs pedestrian accidents since the shutdown. It seems disproportionate to before that.

I think I’m broken, if I sit and try to find something to watch- I end up on golf network. But if my wife picks something, I get hooked.

We just finished the reality game show “the traitors” on Peacock. That’s kinda fun for both of us. She likes trashy tv, and I was entertained by the strategy or lack thereof.

I literally woke up thinking about SmashedRVA this morning. We made our way down to Manchester to grab lunch before they left Hatch.

I swear every trip to Manchester I find something new or being built. Well, everything but that grocery store

Stagnant and low lying water everywhere in the woods. It’s awful in the summer.

I will say, there’s a bunch of single women in their 50s with nothing to do but complain all day near Cherokee. So that’s about the worst of it

Just about every city in the country is saying that.

Data from the NFIRS (fire department reporting system) shows that accidents have skyrocketed in past 36 calendar months nationally. Probably globally.

Less driver education, less restrictions(like relaxed laws), less punishment, and societal stress have made it pretty common
