So, the city needs to do something about it so you’re not uncomfortable? My heart goes out to you

I’m 56 and my last relationship was 10 years ago. I haven’t been looking and have turned some away and by now I feel very set in my ways and cannot perceive having room for anyone, nor imposing my neuroses on anyone new lol. Everything OP said applies. If I feel like doing something I do it. No checking in, etc. That said, I am not opposed to being swept off my feet and I do feel some regret at not having a built in nursing home (kids) when I will inevitably need it.

I’ll jump in with my thanks. It’s a very tough job and a noble service to deliver goods to someone. Thank you
