Yeah but then you would have to watch Jurassic World and frankly fuck that abomination of a movie. How they took one of the most iconic franchises in movie history and just relentlessly turn out the worst garbage is beyond me.

Try The Expanse. Great books that got made into a pretty good TV show too. Or if you want something a bit less serious you can try the Nights Dawn trilogy by Peter F Hamilton.

Much like their downvotes it just doesn't illicit much emotion in me. I watch it, then basically forget it exists. I'm not invested in these characters because they are all a bit flat, much like this show's colour palette actually. Game of thrones was unashamedly red blooded. This is... Not. There's no real excitement, no bawdy humour or scenes, even what action there was felt over choreographed. I haven't got around to watching the last episode because I just don't care that much.

I enjoyed Andor more so far. I would give Andor 7.5 out of 10, HOTD 6.5 and RoP maybe 4.5.

I'm hoping The Peripheral delivers, although it's a bit of a mixed bag too so far.

Depends if you just hang out in echo chambers. It's certainly not up to the standards of game of thrones. It's been pretty boring, the scenes are drab and grey and in uninteresting locations, the writing is mediocre and forced, the story and pacing are slow and not very interesting.

It's had some bright points, but it's had entire episodes that weren't even worth watching. I can't actually be bothered to watch the last episode because I'm so uninvested in it.

Like I said, 6.5. Not awful, but not great. Just a show that exists. Better than rings of power, worse than Andor.
