Jimmy Buffett has several nautical themed songs, but his genre isn’t exactly hype music. Once again, there may be a cover version of his songs out there that may work.

My own personal “theme/hype song”, if I was to have one lol, would be Wish by Nine Inch Nails. That song seriously jambs.

If you can somehow get a physical sample, from a closet or utility room ceiling, you can take that sample to a paint store and they can match the colors. Get flat paint and feather it out the best you can. It will be noticeable, but not as bad.

You can find insulation that is 24” wide. It’s commonly used. Using 3-1/2” thick insulation will be fine. Compressing the insulation makes it lose a little bit of R-Value, but not much.

6 divided by 2 is 3. Batt insulation splits very easily.

If you want the entire wall smooth, skim coat it with drywall compound. If you just want to have the patches match the rest of the wall, go buy a can of spray texture and do you best to match it. Search “orange peel texture in a can”

Sounds like a job for maintenance. You can go buy a Window Insulation Kit at most box stores. It’s just clears plastic that you tape to the window trim and “tighten” up the plastic with a hair dryer.
