It’s just wild knowing that the universities began centuries before the Aztec empire and long outlasted it.

Reply to comment by TacoCommand in TIL Peter Weller, who played RoboCop, went on to get his Ph.D. in Italian Renaissance Art History and wrote his dissertation about Renaissance artist/philosopher Leon Battista Alberti by kamyizme
Peter Weller was always a fine actor but in his later years, he’s developed a real gravity. Watching him and John Noble play off one another was a real treat.
Plus, it was a solid sci-fi story with real emotional underpinnings.
