Why do I have the feeling that this thing can be defeated by a 30 cent fuse between a radio antenna and the board electronics?

Brake as long and hard as you can, but If you are going to hit it, get off the brakes a good second before you do. That raises the front of your car and lowers the chance of it crashing through your windshield.

True, there's a whole world of difference. I can learn to drive a tank and even hit something with it all on my own if I have the time a bit of fuel and ammo. A fighter jet... That's a whole other battlefield, I need someone to tell me what to do, when to do it or that thing crashes into the ground before it leaves even leaves the airfield. Training for an airplane is intense, time consuming and very costly. For everyone involved.

When it's a combined NATO effort, yes. Just Ukraine begging for it, no. Unity is the keyword.

As a German I've been disappointed with the Swiss since they sold bankdata to our government, but still like their pocket knives.

Bullets from an ak shot in the air within the proximity of a city can very well kill people

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/13263486/ this study goes into a bit more detail how long it takes for a virus getting absorbed by a cell and how long it takes to create copies. Your guess with an afternoon isn't that far off. However, there's also a chance that a virus can be exhaled immediately after getting breathed in.

To be fair, those options do cost a bit more than 30 cents.
