Obtain a sticker scraper from the auto parts store and scrape off the inspection stickers when they expire. The traffic fine for not having a sticker is the same as having an expired one, but your apartment management and tow service can't make the call as to whether it's expired if it's not there. Apparently, this is a lazy way of making sure tenants don't store inoperable or unused vehicles on the property.

Reply to comment by tinymonesters in Pennsylvania hospital wants to send woman in coma to Dominican Republic, against her family’s wishes by WITFnews
Unaware of the coma care situation in the Dominican Republic, though healthcare is free there and it seems to rank in the middle of every list I can find quickly. There's no indication the patient is in need of icu care, and apparently the transporting air service specializes in medical transfers. Not trying to argue here, but, without more knowledge of this particular case, this is more about immigration law than any medical concerns.

The hippocratic oath is basically "do no harm". There's no indication a move to the Dominican Republic would do harm here, regardless of immigration issues.

Reply to PA state employees: Are all PA State Employees going to get called back into the office? by ChatNoir33
For months I've been reading on this sub that people can't make contact with an assortment of State offices, along with extended wait times for everything. Didn't realize it was because no one was at work. I guess my opinion is go back to the workplace and do the job you signed on for. Keep in mind that many less fortunate never got a "work from home" break.

Your agent is wrong. Pennsylvania will not allow registration without insurance.

Once you decide on a car, obtain an insurance binder from your insurance agency covering that vehicle. Believe you'll need the VIN# and descriptive information.

Reply to Owner of McDonald's in Warren, Erie Cited for Child Labor Violations - yourdailylocal.com by Historical-Recipe892
There are well thought out reasons for child labor laws. Ultimately, it's too easy for employers to mistreat these kids. I have every understanding for the occasional accidental violation, but that doesn't appear to be the case here. For every high achiever that saves for, and goes to, college, there's five kids that skip school and don't graduate because they think they can make a career of it. The simple fact is, no adult will put up with the crap at those jobs for what they pay.

For unemployment purposes, laid off is due to lack of work. UC will not be of help.

Were you actually laid off, or are you not going to work because you're sick? There's a difference, and it will matter if you apply for unemployment.

It's a shut off moratorium. There's no rule requiring service, just one that it not be terminated during "heating season".

Governor appoints for up to two years, special election required after that. Giselle is an unlikely candidate for appointment. Shapiro would likely appoint a moderate Democrat with good prospects for eventual election.

Yes. A valid registration and insurance are required, does not have to be a Pennsylvania registration. Note, Pennsylvania law does not require inspections until you're actually registered in Pennsylvania, then you have 10 days. Some inspection stations and mechanics may be unable or unwilling to wrap their heads around this, but it's fact.
