I also grew up in the area and it seems like in recent years people care about them way more than they used to. I'm convinced social media has made the crowds way bigger. Everyone wants an instagram them, and news about the bloom spreads faster online than it used to.

If the show is sold out then the box office probably won't have any.

You'll be hard pressed to find any scalpers hanging around, with all the online options you don't see as many of those guys as you used to. If there are in-person scalpers, they usually are yelling about buying tickets even though they're selling (some sort of legal loophole? idk).

TickPick is a good secondhand site to check out. You see the full price with fees upfront, and tickets are verified.

This sub hates cars. And they’re right, it makes sense to encourage as many people as possible to use public transit or bikes. But I think its bad that we ignore taxi/rideshare/delivery vehicles in these conversations.

So much street parking has been eliminated in the city, meanwhile these services are at an all time high. I’m all for bike & bus lanes where they make sense, but I think ignoring taxi/rideshare/delivery vehicles when urban planning is dumb.

We don’t need long term street parking, but I think short term or pickup areas could help with congestion around popular bar/restaurant areas.

I think pedestrians here are as alert as they need to be. During normal 9-5 hours downtown and in heavy pedestrian traffic areas people are less alert, but in those places it should be obvious to drivers when to be careful. Pedestrians aren’t as careful there, but when sidewalks are crowded, drivers need to look out.

I tend to be more careful when walking or driving where there isn’t much traffic. That’s where I tend to run into people/cars that aren’t paying attention as much as they should be.

Facebook/TickPick/Gametime.

Gametimes prices are usually cheapest, but they add fees after the fact.

TickPick shows you the all-in price first, fees included, so it’s less complicated.

There are lots of Facebook groups for Commanders tickets, so I assume the same for the caps and wiz. Most of those groups have rules, vouch systems, and kick people out if they try to run scams, so it’s relatively safe. I’ve bought football tickets off Facebook without any issues.
