It’s only $9.99 a year, not monthly. I think it’s totally reasonable given the cost of providing notifications.

- Apollo for Reddit. Best Reddit client by far.
- Carrot Weather. Insanely customizable and great widgets, plus you can choose between multiple sources.
- Fantastical. Better UI than the stock app and Reminders integration. Also great widgets.
- Edison Mail. Adds a lot of nice features but still has a clean UI. Better notifications than the stock app and has a focused inbox.
- 1Blocker. Not only a great ad blocker for Safari but the paid version also helps block trackers across all apps.

Crouton is a great one. It lets you import recipes and makes them really easy to use. You can add ingredients from recipes to a list in Reminders, have multiple timers going in the app, and create meal plans. The pro version is a reasonable one time payment and you can create a household to share it with other people.
