I wouldn't rent from the Wootons, but that area is nice and quiet, and your stuff isn't super likely to get broken into. Lots of apartments in that area; TLC operates a couple, and while they tend to be overpriced, they also fix stuff when you need them to. That's worth it to me.

Agreed on all points. There are quite a few people in Springfield working to bring about all of that stuff, and I hope it happens eventually. I know they recently allowed for parking minimums to be waived if there is a lot of on street parking available, which basically just helps downtown and Commercial Street, but I hope the idea takes off.

I've always loved that Springfield doesn't have a freeway through the middle of the city. Those are for getting you between cities, not for commuting. A freeway would be even more of a barrier than Chestnut Expy already is. For once, Springfield got something very right.

Welcome! Missouri State is a great school, and there's a huge group of international students there. You'll find a home.

Violence in Springfield is limited geographically. The Missouri State campus is very safe, and the surrounding area, though prone to property crime, does not experience much violent crime. Lock up your stuff and you'll be good.

I always tell people, don't do drugs, and don't stand between others and the drugs they want, and you're unlikely to find yourself in a violent situation.

Hope that helps.

Ok, I got that app and I can see it now, thanks! You mentioned there was a third location? I'm only seeing two on the EV connect app.

That Kum and Go is currently the only fast charger in the city, I'm afraid. There are a few Level 2 chargers around town, at both HyVees, the garage downtown, couple other places, but they'll take you a couple hours to charge while the Kum and Go will do it in like 20 minutes.

TLC is fine. They're corporate, but if you have a maintenance concern, they're always right on it. I wouldn't be too worried in your position.
