The house next to mine is rented. The dude owns 6 rental properties and changed all his doors recently to the keypads because he was tired of changing locks and dealing with people losing their keys. I'm not saying you are in the clear, but there is a rational reason for this.

Unfortunately scammers have all that anyway. I have been apart of more data breaches than I can remember.

I pay them with a paper check. I don't trust them with anything else.
