This reminds me of a phrase I heard as a child that often proves true. "No man made system will ever be perfect". It's based on the idea that we are flawed and will continue to be flawed, also creating flawed things due to our own flaws. What now that machines are beginning to create themselves? What are the chances of truly flawless systems coming from AI? People are going to look at AI as a modern crystal ball. Deepfakes and the such are already making reality difficult for some. I wonder about people treating AI like an omniscient God or at least turning to AI for religious and political reasons. What about when two supposed omniscient AIs disagree on something? Will that happen? We're in for some seriously interesting times, hopefully for the better.
